Layla is currently working to receive her degree in Biomedical Sciences and Psychology, and eventually Neurology. She has experience working at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic where she provided milieu therapy, crisis intervention, and daily care to the patients. She has volunteered for medical brigades in Honduras where she worked alongside pharmacists, dentists, general practitioners, and OB/GYN specialists to take vitals, prepare prescriptions and help them organize initial paperwork. Layla’s experience working in healthcare has made her a tremendous asset to The Nexus Group team. Her work with the TMS program has helped many patients out of their depression, allowing them to start living their lives to the fullest. Fun Fact: Layla loves to indulge her creative side through painting, building, and wood-burning art pieces for friends and family.
